General Conditions

Since we love the fact that you appreciate the exclusivity that only el Tesoro offers you, we want to reward your loyalty. Take into consideration that at the moment of registration in our Program, you automatically accept its conditions and general norms, and you also authorize the administration of your information in the Parque Comercial´s data base.

The Parque Comercial El Tesoro returns double your shopping in privileges. That´s why you should never forget to register your invoices at our information booths. This way you will win instant prizes, participate in the monthly sweepstakes or at special times of the year and also accumulate TESORO MILES for traveling.

Cheer up and accumulate points!

  • For every invoice of $20.000 or more, you will obtain one TESORO.
  • For every dollar of your shopping value, or its equivalent in Colombian pesos, at the weekly IATA rate, plus 1.000 points at the moment of registration, you will accumulate one TESORO MILE.

Process for the registration of shopping invoices

The Loyalty Program in El Tesoro intends for our Commercial Park to be identified as the ideal shopping place which also offers a different, personalized and exclusive experience. That is why we want to clarify the following:

  1. The Parque Comercial El Tesoro may vary the rules for accumulation at any moment according to the advances in the Program.
  2. The invoices only have validity for registration of 10 days.
  3. The Loyalty Program will be effective until April 2010. However, the Parque Comercial El Tesoro may end it at any given time, committing to inform its clients and merchants, 30 days prior to the ending date.
  4. Only invoices from the registered stores will be registered in the Program.
  5. Only shopping invoices will be registered. Shopping orders, sales documents, receipts, quotes, orders or gift certificates are excluded.
  6. Only invoices made out to people, not companies, will be registered.
  7. The registration of invoices must be done personally and for no reason will you be able to register invoices for a third party.
  8. For invoices of $500.000 or more, it is strictly necessary to show your “cédula de ciudadanía”.
  9. The Program has a daily top of accumulation of 3.000 miles. This could be due to the registration of invoices or by the addition of several invoices issued in the same store. This reservation applies to double Wednesdays or to any additional eventful promotion.
  10. For invoices for money exchange, only the value of IVA (tax) will be registered. The balance generated by the exchange will not count in the accumulation of points.
  11. Utility receipts or tax payment receipts are not applicable. Financial investment certifications, bank transactions and/or invoices made out to companies are not acceptable.
  12. The division of the value of the invoice into several documents is considered “mishandling”. In this case, the store must pay the total value of the miles awarded to the client and may be excluded from the Program.
  13. Any type of fraudulent or improper management of invoices for registration, ends the registration of the client, who will have the accumulation cancelled. This will immediately expel the store involved.
  14. The Parque Comercial El Tesoro is responsible for informing its clients about the existence or non existence of stores in the program.

Delivery of awards

Accumulating TESOROS and TESORO MILES will bring you closer to a universe of awards that Parque Comercial El Tesoro has for you. They are:

  • Instant Prizes| These can be shopping orders or surprise prizes. These will be immediately handed out after filling out the control paperwork and presenting the correct identification.
  • Monthly sweepstakes| All clients who have active TESOROS, that is those accumulated and registered during the last 4 months, may participate.
  • Each TESORO is an opportunity to participate in the Awards Plan. These are non transferable and can only be claimed by presenting the original cédula, two photocopies of the cédula, the last three invoices of shopping done in El Tesoro, and if they are tickets, a valid visa depending on the destination.

General Conditions for the Accumulation of Tesoro Miles.

For every dollar in your purchases, or its equivalent in Colombian pesos at the IATA Exchange rate, plus 1.000 points at the moment of registering, you will accumulate a TESORO MILE. Keep in Mind:

  1. La participación en el Programa implica la aceptación de la totalidad de las condiciones fijadas en éste.
  2. El Parque Comercial El Tesoro may vary the rules of accumulation at any moment, according to the advances in the Program.
  3. The accumulated TESOROS and TESORO MILES have a validity of one year. In case the Program is ended, there will be a lapse of three months to redeem them.
  4. The accumulated TESOROS and TESORO MILES are personal and non transferable and can only be used by the person registered in the Program and cannot be paid or transferred to anybody different.
  5. The generation of TESOROS and TESORO MILES does not apply when there are other special arrangements or independent pending benefits with a particular store registered in the Program.
  6. The REDEMPTION CERTIFICATES FOR THE TESORO MILES are valid for 30 days beginning on the date of issue, which implies that they expire if they are not redeemed for products or services during this amount of time.
  7. The loss of shopping orders or mile redemption certificates, by the beneficiary will not be made effective by El Tesoro.
  8. The participation in the Program implies the total acceptance of the conditions fixed in it.
  9. Parque Comercial El Tesoro is not responsible for changes in the conditions and rules of the frequent flyer programs which are affiliated to our Program, which are a direct responsibility of the airline.

Redemption of TESORO MILES

This exclusive Award Plan offered only in El Tesoro, rewards your loyalty. That is why at the moment of redeeming your MILES follow these requisites:

  • Be registered in the Program for a period of at least 2 years.
  • Be an active client.
  • Have a mínimum of three purchases per month, during the last three months.
  • Have purchases for over $300.000 in the last month.
  • Present the last three invoices made out in your name.
  • By redeeming the TESORO MILES, the accumulated TESOROS will be discounted simultaneously in your account.
  • Present a valid visa required according to the chosen destination plus a cédula.
  • TESORO MILES can only be redeemed in certificates or tickets made out in the name of the first beneficiary and always with the right identification.
  • TESORO MILES are only redeemed for international destinations and never for domestic flights.
  • For each additional TESORO MILES redemption more than 360 days must have passed since the last redemption.
  • The redemption of TESORO MILES will be in tickets to the selected destination or in Frequent Flyer Miles according to the table defined by the El Tesoro computer. The date to do this is established by the travel operator in the Program (ULTRAVIAJES S.A.).
  • TESORO MILES can be redeemed in:
    1. Travel tickets: only with the full amount of miles stipulated for any international flight and the number of necessary TESOROS equivalent to the same total of miles in the equivalency chart.
    2. Mile Redemption Certificate: Redemption of miles in a Program certificate may only be done at the ULTRAVIAJES establishment in Parque Comercial El Tesoro with a minimum of 10.000 MILES and 200 TESOROS.

Note: The client is responsible for paying the taxes originated by the tickets, which are for fuel, sales tax (Colombia) and immigration rates, international arrival, use of Customs, animal and plant inspection and September 11th security when applicable, as well as the national airport taxes, plus international exit and the administrative charge for the emission of the ticket.

After 4 months of not registering purchases, miles will be deactivated according to the following chart. Once the client is inactive, he/she will be excluded from the possibility of redeeming miles and will lose antiquity, which implies that he/she will become active on the date he/she begins registering purchases once again.

Exclutions

  • All financial transactions, dollar purchases, payment of utilities, payment of taxes, gift certificates or certificates.
  • These people cannot register invoices: El Tesoro PH employees, commercial establishments, Security and Cleaning Company, owners of commercial brands. No employee from the affiliated establishments may register invoices on behalf of third parties.
  • The Loyalty Program Software has the support of an auditing program which allows legal follow up to be performed for the invoices registered. Any anomaly will be reported and investigated by the Auditing Office of the Parque Comercial El Tesoro PH.

TESORO VIP Card

Parque Comercial El Tesoro renews the TESORO VIP Card, especially designed to provide more privileges on those things you like the most.

With the registration of 200 TESOROS and 5.000 TESORO MILES, in a period of 360 consecutive days, get your card. These miles and tesoros will not be redeemed from your accumulated amount and will let you have access to benefits such as:

  • Receive information continuously about our events and sales.
  • Preferential Treatment in different activities.
  • Invitations and special prices for events.
  • Privileges in the affiliated stores.

How to get a TESORO VIP Card if you do not fulfill the conditions?

You must be in the Program for more than two years and have 20.000 TESORO MILES and 100 TESOROS.
