It contributed 1500 direct jobs during its construction, and more than 1800 permanent work posts in its operation and functioning.

Ally to street development

It created new accesses and restored others that were in need of repair. This contributed in helping traffic in the Inferior and Superior Transversals.

Nature, its greatest strength

The Commercial Park has more than 30.000 m² planted with flowers and trees as well as a path with bamboo trees that is crossed by the Escopetería creek; a natural resource that El Tesoro is committed to preserve.

Since its inauguration, El Tesoro dedicates a great part of its efforts in demonstrating its commitment to the community and the environment. Not only does it help its less favored neighbors, but is also in charge of keeping and beautifying five roundabouts that were awarded to the park by the Mayor´s office in 2003.

With a friendly heart

With the “'Lazos de Amistad” campaign, El Tesoro economically supports the student program for the Centro Educativo La Visitación-Las Lomas. Currently 141 children of low income resources that inhabit the less favored sectors in the Poblado hills are helped.

On the other hand, with the Soñar Despierto Organization, El Tesoro holds the “Letters to Baby Jesus” event, where Christmas gifts are collected for more than 2500 children. Also, El Tesoro hosts the “Vagones de Sonrisas”, a moment in which, year after year, school kits for children of low income resources are collected.
